SINGERS with the Accrington Male Voice Choir have been interviewed for a German television programme about the lives of prisoners of war in Oswaldtwistle.
The choir sang twice at the Stanhill PoW camp during the Second World War and were interviewed last year for a British documentary "The Germans We Kept".
Now they are to feature again in "Gott und die Welt" (God and the World) to be broadcast in Germany at Christmas, but they are still searching for wartime photographs of the group for the programme.
Anyone with any pictures of the choir, or who has memories of the choir performing during the war, should call David Wilkinson on 01282 869147.
