A NIGHTCLUB deputy manager has been remanded in custody charged with the rape of a 16 -year-old girl.
A bar owner has also been remanded in custody by Burnley magistrates on charges of aiding and abetting the rape and indecently assaulting the girl.
Andrew Clark McCamon, 31, of Trinity Towers, Accrington Road, Burnley, was charged with raping the girl at the Genesis night club, Hammerton Street, Burnley, where he is deputy manager.
He was represented by Gary Bolton. A bail application was refused and he was remanded in custody to the crown court on February 6. Mushtaq Ahmed, 41, of Colne Road, Burnley, who was said in court to be the owner of the Mill Bar, Burnley, was remanded in custody to the same date on aiding and abetting and indecent assault charges.
He was represented by Vic Wozny who made an unsuccessful application for bail. The offences allegedly happened in the early hours of Friday.
