TEENAGERS mapping out their next step after leaving high school have been sent a "new look" prospectus by Nelson and Colne College.
All Year 11 pupils at schools throughout Burnley and Pendle will get a copy of the prospectus called A Journey of a Thousand Miles Starts with a Single Step, which details life at college and gives them an overview of the courses available.
There is also a series of course booklets which go into much greater detail about individual programmes of study.
Around 2,500 copies have been mailed out.
The college's marketing manager Jane Lee said: "Hopefully, this format breaks down the huge amount of information young people often need to plan their futures into more manageable chunks."
"For the first time ever, we are aiming to get a copy of the prospectus through the front door of every Year 11 pupil in the area, and that process is on going at the moment."
Anyone who misses out can contact Maureen Boyle at the college on 01282 440258 to get a copy.
The college is also staging a number of open events to publicise its courses. The next one is a specialist "Question of Catering" session at the Barrowford Road, Colne, site from 7pm on February 7.
