A FREE tot of whisky was enjoyed by everyone who recited poetry from Scotland's favourite son Robbie Burns at Ye Olde Sparrow Hawk, Fence.
The pub, on Wheatley Lane Road, held its traditional Burns Supper when nearly 50 meals were served.
Landlord Richard Bromwich said: "We served haggis, neeps and tatties as the main course and had Cullin Skink for starters, smoked haddock soup with potatoes and leek, and Crahachan, whipped cream with Drambuie, fresh raspberries, drizzled with honey, toasted oats and shortbread.
Richard addressed the haggis and a piper was on hand to pipe-in the delicacy.
