A MAN was attacked and robbed as he took his dog for a walk in a Prestwich park.
He suffered a knee injury and cuts and bruising to his face when two men beat him following a fight between their dogs in St Mary's Park.
A jacket and wallet, containing £60 in cash, were taken as he lay on the floor.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses to the incident at 10am on Thursday (Jan 25). The attackers were white, aged around 25 and 5ft 9in tall. One of them was wearing blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms and a red jumper while the other wore "combat" trousers and a blue jacket.
