DOZENS of Bury Council staff have scored success in various exams.
Around 80 employees, mostly from social services, were presented with educational certificates at a ceremony in Radcliffe Civic Suite.
The presentations were made by Janet Glover, regional adviser for City and Guilds/Affinity, with Councillor Kevin Scarlett, chairman of social services, and Mr Eddie Clarke, head of adult services.
Coun Scarlett said: "It is tremendous to see so many of our staff stepping forward to receive their certificates after completing the various courses.
"Having the best qualified staff has got to be the ultimate goal of any authority in order to provide a top quality service to local people. I think they have all done remarkably well."
The qualifications presented at last Thursday's (Jan 25) ceremony included NVQ in Care Levels II and III, Vocational Assessor Awards and NVQ Level I Cleaning Building Interiors.
