LEEDS-based Willmott Dixon Construction have clinched a £3million deal to work on the refurbishment of Royal Ordnance in Chorley.
The construction company is working closely with Chorley-based architects Gilling Dodd Ltd and Stockport engineers Emech Consultants.
The 12-month project includes the refurbishment and remodelling of three existing buildings totalling 2,100 square metres, a new 2,800 square metre office development, security lodge, link road and two car parks.
The major refurbishment is expected to be completed by September.
Paul Willis, managing director of Willmott Dixon's construction operation said: "The Royal Ordnance project is helping to further develop our construction presence in the region. We are delighted to reaffirm our relationship with British Aerospace and are confident the Royal Ordnance scheme will be a great success."
