RADCLIFFE Boro crashed to a 2-0 home defeat last night to Stalybridge Celtic in an uninspiring Unibond League Cup group stage tie.
The visitors dominated the early stages but it was the 63rd minute before they took the lead when Boro defender Simon Kelly put through his own goal. Seven minutes later Ian Cooke got Celtic's second with Boro substitute Lee Kissock twice going close. Radcliffe keeper Danny Hurst was voted man of the match.
