ALL Leigh's big guns will be back for tonight's re-arranged Northern Ford Premiership clash with Workington as the Centurions look to consolidate their position in the top two.
Seven straight wins is the best start Leigh have made to a season since 1951 and an eighth tomorrow will be a club record.
But head coach Paul Terzis refuses to take anything for granted, claiming that Town will 'give us our biggest defensive test so far.'
Neil Turley returns at full-back after being one of several players rested for the Challenge Cup tie against West Hull on Sunday. Also back in the squad are Dave Bradbury, Simon Baldwin, Alan Hadcroft and John Hamilton while Kieron Purtill keeps his place after safely negotiating his first senior game of the season.
Aussie winger Michael Watts is likely to miss out after going down with a throat infection while prop Dave Whittle is nursing a bruised knee. Dave Jones is rested.
Terzis is warning that Workington's huge pack will give Leigh's defence a thorough investigation. "Pure size alone will ask us a few questions," he says. "They'll be very physical so we've got to be fully prepared for the challenge."
Leigh's Challenge Cup fourth round tie against Super League neighbours Salford has been chosen for live TV coverage by the BBC. The game will be featured on Sunday Grandstand on February 11, kick off 1.45pm.
"In my mind they are the best of the three Cumbrian teams this season and have recruited heavily in the off season to sign good players like Tane Manihera, Lokeni Savelio and Fata Sini. But we're proud of our record this season and won't be losing it lightly."
