EMERGENCY engineers were called out after a lorry crashed into a footbridge in Blackburn town centre.
The lorry got stuck under the bridge on Northgate yesterday afternoon.
The bridge links King George's Hall with the Central Library and was closed while repairs were carried out.
Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council engineers repaired a dent to the side and torn panels underneath.
The lorry driver was unhurt.
