Lytham1st XI 6 Neston 1
LSA's winning form continued as they played some sound hockey to effectively seal the game by half time thanks to two goals from Craig Nuttall sandwiching a Dave Robbins penalty stroke. Heavy pressure brought a goal from Chris Hadley that crept in from a narrow angle. David Hans produced a moment of brilliance beating several players before reverse sticking the ball over the keeper into the net and finally LSA's latest recruit Kevin Bunten from National League hockey club Peterbrough, pounced on a loose ball after a penalty corner to score the sixth goal.
Lytham 2nd XI St Helens 2
LSA were soon two goals down with the opposition playing fast aggressive hockey. But they then created several chances during which Doug Green scored from a well worked penalty corner. Green and Danny Horne, in goal, both had excellent games at the back with skipper Graham Stuart orchestrating well in mid-field.
LSA 3rd XI were beaten 1-0 by Alderley Edge while LSA 4ths beat Bebbington 4-2.
