POLICE are appealing for witnesses who saw an accident on the Liverpool bound carriageway of the East Lancashire Road, Haydock on Saturday, January 27.
The incident occurred at 8.25am when a 26 year-old female pedestrian was in collision with a heavy goods vehicle.
Angela Murray from Blackpool received a number of injuries and later died at Warrington Hospital.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact 0151 777 5730.
