The home side got back on level terms shortly before the break when Michael Sherlock netted after a great move.

The tempo stayed the same as both teams were trying to get on top in the second half. The score remained 2-2.

Luke O'Shaunessy and Jonathan Havens both hit hat-tricks as Seedfield Sports U12s won at Radcliffe Juniors B. With Paul Lomax scoring Juniors consolation.

A top of the table clash between Bury Juniors and Avro U13s, saw Avro extend their lead at the top with a convincing 5-0 win. Bury were up against it from the start when after only five minutes Ryan Shaunessy converted a penalty to put the visitors in the driving seat.

Avro never looked back after gaining the early advantage and doubled their lead before the break, when Darren Hunt netted after some good midfield possession.

Both teams were now playing some attractive football, with the home side chasing the game had left space at the back, the game was put beyond them when Darren Hunt it two more goals to complete his hat-trick and put Avro 4-0 up. Stephen Ross completed the scoring near the end.

The Avro manager, for his 'outstanding performance' complemented the Bury goalkeeper.
