A CHILDREN'S performance of musical Whistle Down the Wind will be staged by the Hippodrome Youth Theatre, Todmorden.
Zoe Case, Vikki Smith, Saul Moorhouse and Steven Hooper star in the show about children who find a man hiding in a barn. They are sure he is Jesus, but the adults discover he is an escaped convict.
Helen Clarkson, Andrew Rawlinson and Rachel Rogers have produced the show. The tale was made famous by the film starring Hayley Mills. It was shot in East Lancashire and was revived as a Lloyd-Webber West End musical.
The production at Todmorden Hippodrome Theatre, Halifax Road, runs from Tuesday to Saturday. Tickets cost £3 or £5 from Sylvia Sutcliffe on 01706 813655 or from Todmorden Tourist Information Centre, Burnley Road, on 01706 818181.
