TWO motorists were treated at Bury General Hospital after a weekend head-on collision.

The accident on Pilsworth Road, east of the M66, involved a Rover car and a Toyota Corolla.

Mark Icely (31), of Heywood, the Rover driver, sustained chest bruising.

The other driver, Leonard Messenger (73), also of Heywood, received a neck injury.

Neither man was detained following the accident, which happened at 3.30pm on Sunday (Feb 4).
