A LEADING UK furniture manufacturer has named an East Lancashire man as its first ever salesman of the year.
Terry Barrow, 38, of Stanford Hall Crescent, Ramsbottom, was honoured for his sales techniques by bosses at Beautility.
The company, which is part of the Glasgow-based Morris Furniture Group, launched the award scheme last year and Terry was presented with a trophy to mark the occasion by Beautility's sales director Jay Joshi.
"Winning this award has been the result of a lot of hard work and for my name to be the first on the trophy is a great feeling."
Part of Terry's work is visiting furniture retailers across the North West.
