ROSSENDALE residents over the age of 55 are being given the chance to latch on to a free home security offer.
Age Concern Lancashire has teamed up with the Police to offer free window and door locks.
And fitting is also free as long as doors and windows are not UPVC or aluminium and properties are not housing association owned.
The scheme, called operation safeguard, closes in March 2001.
Anyone who would like further details should contact Jane Parkinson or Tracy Turner at Age Concern Lancashire on 01706 877294.
