THE assistant manager of a Burnley nightclub charged with raping a 16-year-old girl has been bailed for two months.
Andrew McCamon, 31, appeared before Judge Raymond Bennett at Burnley Crown Court.
McCamon, of Trinity Towers, Accrington Road, Burnley, must live at an address near Chester and is banned from entering Burnley, except to attend court or to see his solicitor by appointment.
He must also not contact prosecution witnesses.
McCamon's co-defendant, Mushtaq Ahmed, 41, of Colne Road, Burnley, who is accused of aiding and abetting rape and indecent assault, will have a bail application made on his behalf tomorrow and was remanded in custody until then.
Both men were arrested after an alleged incident at the club in the early hours of January 26.
The case was adjourned for a plea and directions hearing on April 6.
