FORMER Burnley striker Ian Duerden reckons minnows Kingstonian have what it takes to get past Bristol City at the second attempt tonight.

Duerden, 22, joined the Ks from Darlington in November and has played a big part in their amazing FA Cup run.

He was part of the side that came agonisingly close to the fifth round at Ashton Gate ten days ago and reckons they could go one better in tonight's replay.

"After the fifth round draw, one of the players was interviewed on TV and he kept having to correct himself because he was talking like we had already beaten Bristol and we were on our way to Leicester!

"So the lads do believe we can do it."

The replay was switched to Brentford's Griffin Park ground from Kingstonian's Kingsmeadow after the original tie ended 1-1.

But after Sky Sports stepped in and said they wanted to show the game live, the Ks switched the game back to Kingsmeadow and will receive £100,000 from the satellite TV company.

After beating Brentford, Southport and Southend on the way to the fourth round, Kingstonian are desperate to get their chance to have a go at a 'big' club.

"There are some Premiership clubs you would fancy your chances against, like Dagenham did against Charlton, and Leicester is one of them.

"There were a lot of tears last weekend after Bristol City equalised in injury time, and I have been going over and over it in my head, but Geoff Chapple (the Kingstonian manager) just kept telling us to keep our heads up because we are not out of it yet."
