I READ so much about the 'damage' we all do to the environment, with our cars, and aerosol sprays, that I have to ask, what about the other things which never get a mention.
Things like all the aeroplanes which can be seen in the sky all day (when the rain allows us to) throughout the world?
But, much more importantly, as I see it, what about the many tonnes of petrochemical fluids it takes to get all the spaceships into orbit around the world. Why do these things never get even a mention when scientists debate the damage being done to the ozone layer which supposedly protects us all from the ultra-violet rays of the sun?
How many aerosols does it equal when the Yanks and the Russians send up a spacecraft into outer space? It must be millions.
