I FEEL so privileged because I am a supporter of both the Saints and Wigan Athletic. I also attend quite a few St Helens Town matches as well.
Now that the fantastic Saints are World Club Champions, I'm waiting for the Latics to be promoted to the First Division. What an amazing year 2001 could prove to be. It could be even better as St Helens Town could end the year having been promoted to the Unibond League.
With the Latics playing at the magnificent JJB stadium and the two St Helens sides soon to be playing at their magnificent new stadium, can it get much better?
Unfortunately this makes me a member of a group particularly despised by Wigan Rugby League fans -- a Saints AND Latics supporter!
Anyway, good luck to the three teams for the rest of the year.
