Crosfields A 52 UGB 2
WITH the Crosfields first team game postponed, UGB faced a strong home line-up and, perhaps not surprisingly, suffered their heaviest defeat of the season.
Having travelled with a bare 13, the visitors were reduced to 12 men when Canning had to retire at half-time with a back injury and did well to contain Crosfields.
Prop Ian Penketh was a tower of strength for UG, M. Griffiths took the Birkett Motors man-of-the-match and David Ball grabbed their points with a penalty goal.
