Milnrow 48 Parr Hare & Hounds 0
AFTER three encouraging displays in recent weeks Hounds travelled to take on promotion-chasing Milnrow with optimism, only to produce their worst performance of the season.
A late arrival and hurried preparation didn't help the visitors' cause and they found themselves 18 points in arrears within 10 minutes of the kick-off.
Hounds tried to haul themselves back into contention but were continually thwarted by their inability to complete their sets of six. In the end they were no match for a big, well-drilled Milnrow side who went on to record a fully-deserved and comprehensive win.
Best for Hounds were forwards Mick Burke and Karl Grounds, utility player Mike Corrigan and full-back Ian Sherwood.
