ARTIST Rachel Dejnowycz, 21, has been offered the chance to display her work in a top Manchester watering hole.
Rachel, 21, of Whitewell Road, Accrington, graduated from Liverpool John Moores University arts course in May and has been looking for somewhere to show off her collection of pop-art ever since.
But now after months of working on her pieces in a studio above the Albion pub, Clayton-le-Moors, the owners of the Night and Day pub, Manchester, have stepped in to offer her latest creation some much sought after wall space.
Explaining the theory behind the naming of 'America Needs a Villain', which took her about a week to do, Rachel said: "I'm interested in the way the media treat celebrities and famous people.
"In America everything is blamed on Marilyn Manson. Every generation seems to have a scapegoat.
"I am still looking for homes for my other pieces and have sent portfolios out to people. My ultimate ambition is to be able to create album covers for musicians."
