CARLETON A scraped a 6-4 win over Ansdell Arena B to go top of the Premier Division of the Lytham St Annes and District Table Tennis League by seven points.
Previous leaders St Annes YMCA A, beat Marton Institute A, but have played two games more.
Lytham Ex Service B hotted up the pace at the top of the First Division after a 6-4 victory over Seasiders B going ten points clear of Ansdell Arena E with a game in hand.
Despite the season's second 5-5 draw for Carleton C, this time against AXA (Guardian) D, they top the Second Division by 12 points, but second placed Lytham Ex Service D have two games in hand.
