The equaliser came when Chris Lamb fed a good ball for David Heeley to cross to Liam MacDonald to score. Our Lady went 2-1 up before Chris Lamb once again linked up with David Heeley to score a cracker of a goal. Man of the match was David Heeley.

THORNTON CLEVELEYS DOLPHINS U9s 3 OUR LADY 1 ALEX Beckett received a long cross which found him on his own, to score Thornton's first goal. Five minutes later Ben pushed the ball passed the Our Lady defence, to find Alex free again to score the second. Thornton started the second half playing some good football, with Ben and new player Chris Chambers using the ball well. Man of the match Alex Beckett scored the Dolphins third for his hat trick, with Our Lady scoring a consolation goal near the end.

THORNTON CLEVELEYS B U10s 3 OUR LADY A 0 THORNTON took the lead when Chris Rolinson received a through ball from Alex Smith and released a cracker from five yards outside the box. In the second half Dane England collected a Mark Wild pass on the right wing, beat two defenders and calmly beat the keeper. He bagged his brace with a cracker from the edge of the box. Man of the match Adam Colgan and Jake Gillett were resolute at the back. THORNTON CLEVELEYS B U10s 6 OUR LADY B 1 Chris Newton put TCFC ahead after five minutes. Matty Wood put them two up with a 20 yard effort that was still rising when it hit the net. Our Lady pulled one back after nine minutes but Robbie Highfield bagged a third from a corner. After Ben Whelan had pulled off a good save, the Lions pulled away for Mark Lord to make it four. Ryan Holmes bagged a fifth and Mark Lord got his brace after good work by Dominic Sykes. Kirkham added another two goals before Dane England scored a consolation goal for the Lions. Joe Bowley and Dane England were the pick of the bunch for TCFC.

THORNTON CLEVELEYS U14s 4 SOUTH SHORE 4 SOUTH Shore scored first, but Thornton had pulled it back to 2-2 at half-time. In the second half Thornton against the wind, went down 4-2 but with ten minutes to go they produced a determined fight-back to finish the game 4-4. Goal scorers for Thornton were Chris Brundish and Ben Buckley, man of the match was Paul Barnes.
