COLLECTORS and treasure hunters are in for a bargain buy when they visit their local Barnardo's shop in St Helens.
Silverware, pottery, china, collectibles and quality linen are just some of the riches on offer to eager shoppers. All are high-class items at bargain prices, with famous names such as Wedgwood and Royal Doulton taking centre stage.
Staff at the Barrow Street store have been hoarding their collectibles and treasures in anticipation of their Aladdin's Cave sale which begins this Saturday February 10.
"We are expecting a busy day on Saturday and throughout the week," said area manager Fiona Logan. "Because the proceeds go to such a good cause people are very generous with their donations to us. We therefore have some top of the range items in store which we are able to offer at very competitive prices, starting from only a few pounds".
All proceeds from the shop go towards Barnardo's projects with children and families in the local area.
