FORMER St Helens College student Jackie Unsworth and a friend are flying high in the world of corporate hospitality.
Together they formed their own company. And one of their recent ventures was to organise an event aboard a hot air balloon.
Jackie, who used to live in Nutgrove, but now of Northill, Bedfordshire, set up 'All Eventualities' with her friend and business partner, Kate Leech.
Describing their enterprise as "an events management company" the pals are aiming to specialise in finding suitable venues for company events including conferences, board meetings, seminars and even Christmas parties and office days out.
Jackie attended St Helens College where she achieved a Diploma in Hotel Reception. She worked as a hotel receptionist at the former Chalon Court Hotel in St Helens before going to New York in 1996 as Household Co-ordinator at the private residence of the Governor of New York State. Returning to St Helens in 1997, she worked at the Stakis Hotel (now the Hilton Hotel) and then moved to Haydock Park Racecourse as a sales co-ordinator for restaurants.
