REGARDING Blackburn Transport timetables -- which said that the Outer Circle bus arrives at Revidge Road, Blackburn, at eight minutes past the hour -- after complaining about waiting for more than 50 minutes in cold weather, a very apologetic inspector informed me the timetable was out of date.
The correct time for the bus to arrive should be five minutes to the hour, so having to wait for 55 minutes is asking a little too much.
I pay £8.75 per week to stand in the freezing cold, and all it takes is for Blackburn Transport to produce an up-to-date timetable and keep the public reliably informed.
MISS JANETTE D'LANEY, Dukes Brow, Revidge, Blackburn.
FOOTNOTE: A spokesman for Blackburn with Darwen Council said: "The council has undertaken to provide timetable information and apologises to Miss D'Laney for any inconvenience. We will be looking into this and will rectify the information provided as soon as possible."
