NOTTINGHAM Forest midfielder David Prutton will try out a new style of play against Rovers tomorrow -- to try to stop getting himself suspended.

The influential 19-year-old has been hit with his third ban of the season after receiving his tenth booking of the campaign in the game at Huddersfield on Saturday.

He will miss Forest's trip to league leaders Fulham next week and the home game with Sheffield Wednesday.

And Prutton has declared that he may have to consider altering his own game -- starting tomorrow against Rovers -- as he fears that sitting on the sidelines could deny him the chance to play a part in Forest's promotion bid.

"We are pushing for the play-offs and I want to be as much a part of it as I can," he said. "By being suspended all the time means I'm missing out through my own fault.

"It also disrupts my rhythm when I'm in and out of the side all the time.

"So I'm seriously thinking about adjusting my game a little bit. I've discussed it with the management and we all agree that I must be less cynical in the tackle.

"I've lost count of the amount of bookings through fouls that could have been avoided.

"I don't want to totally change my style of play because I won't be the same player. But there's certainly something that needs to be looked at."
