A BICKERSHAW woman has vosed to carry on working after her numbers came up on the National Lottery.
Catherine Davies, 45, scooped £90,866 on Saturday's lottery draw.
But she says she won't be handing in her notice.
And this week she was back behind the counter as a shop assistant at Slaters School Wear warehouse.
Catherine said: "I was completely shocked."
The married mum-of-three will be able to celebrate her 46th birthday this weekend in style, after successfully matching five numbers plus the bonus ball.
She has been playing the lottery since it began in November 1994 and has not had a holiday in five years.
But now thanks to the lucky dip numbers she brought from the Co-op in Hindley she can afford a trip to the most exclusive destinations.
Catherine initially thought she was dreaming when she realised she had the right numbers and she had to visit two National Lottery retailers to get them to check the tickets to confirm the win.
She said: "We haven't had a holiday in five years. But this year thanks to our National Lottery win our dreams can come true."
She will be treating husband John, 48, and their three children Doromie, 21, Andrew, 19, and 13-year-old Matthew as well as investing some of the money.
Catherine said she walked in a daze to work and had to get a pal to ring Camelot to confirm her win because she was so nervous.
Hubby John even thought something awful had happened when she rang with the good news because she just could not get the words out.
Catherine said: "It's a nice amount but not really enough to stop work on."
The winning numbers from Saturday's draw were 17, 15, 25, 26, 02,16 with the bonus number 44. 'We haven't had a holiday in five years. But this year thanks to our National Lottery win our dreams can come true...' Catherine Davies, 45, scooped £90,866 on Saturday's lottery draw.
