HIGH-flying Bolton Wanderers are looking to do the double over struggling Huddersfield Town at the Reebok Stadium tomorrow.

Back in September, Sam Allardyce's men ran out winners in a five-goal thriller at the Alfred McAlpine Stadium. Since then, the Trotters have risen to the top of the pile, and despite a last-gasp draw at bottom club Queens Park Rangers last Saturday, are firmly occupying the second automatic promotion place in Division One.

Leading goalscorer Michael Ricketts, who missed the Loftus Road match through suspension, is ready to link up with Dean Holdsworth in the front line again. Ricketts, whose 16 goals have proved a crucial factor in Bolton's success this season, scored twice at Huddersfield and will be relishing the chance for more.

Seasoned campaigners Ian Marshall and Gudni Bergsson, nursing a groin strain and an Achilles injury respectively, could also return but face fitness tests. Definitely missing however, will be club skipper Mike Whitlow, who has torn stomach muscles.

Meanwhile, Big Sam has swooped to sign former Luton and QPR goalkeeper Jurgen Sommer to ease his FA Cup goalkeeping headache.

First-choice Jussi Jaaskelainen has undergone surgery in America and will be out for the season, deputy Steve Banks is suspended and on-loan Tommy Wright is cup-tied. Subject to clearance from the US Soccer Federation, 32-year-old Sommer will be plunged straight into the turbulent Lancashire derby cauldron when neighbours Blackburn Rovers pitch up at the Reebok for next week's FA Cup clash.

Allardyce said: "Jorgen is a highly experienced goalkeeper and an imposing player in the box. I am sure he will do a good job for us and I am grateful to him for agreeing to come over at such short notice."
