JUST like "25 Years Loyal" (Your Letters, Feb 2) I too am a local supporter with 63 years' service to Bury Football Club. I buy tickets for everything connected to my club and I also identify myself when I write to the press.

If "25 Years Loyal" has a contract of employment he expects it to be honoured, come hell or high water. The contracts at Bury FC also must be honoured.

I suggest that "25 Years Loyal" puts his money where his mouth is, buys the club and then he can run it any way he likes. But until then, I would appeal to him to keep supporting the club.

Mr Robinson is keeping the club going on a shoestring. He needs all our support and if we can't significantly change things in a financial way, then let's at least give credit to our chairman for trying.
