LINE dancers will spend an afternoon boot scootin' in memory of East Lancashire DJ Ray O'Dowd, known as the "Jukebox Junkie".
The dance, with music provided by local line dance teacher Sandra Lynton and David Hanns, kicks off at 1pm on Sunday, March 4, at King George's Hall, Blackburn, in aid of Christie's Against Cancer.
Sandra said: "The event is to mark the death of Ray O'Dowd, who was a very popular DJ who sadly passed away on January 17, aged only 45.
"Hopefully it will become an annual event."
Sponsorship forms for the event are available from King George's Hall or dancers can pay £5 admission.
