STAFF and regulars at Radcliffe's Woolpack pub shrugged off the winter blues and got into the holiday spirit.
It may have been raining outside, but inside the Stand Lane pub the atmosphere was positively Caribbean when they held a beach party.
Landlord Geoff Pickering said: "We decided enough was enough. The non-stop rain had to be nipped in the bud. We had a strict dress code of swimwear and fake tan. Great fun."
The event went so well that they are now planning to hold a Grand Christmas Party on August 6.
