SPRING will be busting out all over on the recently completed Daisyfield "Greenway" in Bury.
Wildflower seeds are to be sown and trees and shrubs planted as part of the £50,000 scheme.
However, residents have been told to expect some parts of the route to be closed over the next six weeks while work goes on.
The greenway is on the Bury to Bolton railway line, running between Wellington Street and Buckingham Drive, and is already well-used by cyclists and walkers.
Councillor Wayne Campbell, Bury Council's environment chairman, said: "The landscaping work will significantly enhance the Daisyfield greenway that has been created."
