WHEN businesswoman Belinda Clarke began running her successful home shopping company she had to use a pram to deliver the catalogues.
As a working mum with no car Belinda had to take baby son Joseph out with her when visiting her customers and carried the catalogues in the pram.
After starting from scratch just over two years ago Belinda has now built up a booming home shopping company from her base in Eclipse Road, Blackburn, and she now boasts more than 1200 customers.
Belinda, 39, and husband, Peter, 47, ran a pub in Wales for five years before deciding to return to their native Blackburn in 1998.
Belinda said: "We were working eighteen hours a day, seven days a week, as well as raising our two very young children. We were getting nowhere fast and decided we'd had enough. I really wanted to come back home."
As well as running the home shopping Kleeneze distribution Belinda also runs training and recruitment days for the company.
She is also featured in the latest edition of the company's magazine as one of their success stories.
She said: "Although Peter has his own job the children, Shayla Lee, 10, and Joseph, three, really get involved in the business and they love helping me bag up the products."
If anyone is interested in following in Belinda's footsteps and running their own business they should call Belinda on 01254 209106.
