A BURY teenager was beaten up when he refused to buy 'weed' from three thugs.
The 19-year-old was struck several times on his head and face after being stopped on Bridge Road, Bury, on Thursday (Feb 8).
Police say the men asked him to buy drugs and he was assaulted when he said no.
He suffered cuts, a lump to his forehead and a bruised jaw in the attack. The thugs also stole his mobile phone, valued at £200.
His attackers were all Asian. One was aged 18, 5ft 10ins, with short, dark hair, clean shaven and wearing a white baseball cap, dark jacket and a gold chain on his right hand.
The other two are only described as aged around 18.
