WAS Mr S Nightingale (Sports Letters, February 6) actually at the same game when Rovers played Derby at Ewood, or was he listening to it on the radio?
For on a better day with a just referee and a bit of luck his team would have been soundly beaten by Rovers.
Bitter opinionated views aside, Mr Nightingale should concentrate solely on his own team's state of affairs, realising the prospect of First Division football is ever closer, while Premiership football at Ewood Park is an ever increasing reality.
Would Mr Nightingale leave us Roverites to gleefully "whinge" while the only Derby fan in Blackburn crawls back into his closet for another year, reappearing when they're in the First Division?
