AS a Blackburn Rovers fan living in Blackburn, I am sick of hearing a bleating Derby fan typified by your letter writer S Nightingale (Letters, February 6).
Derby fans should be flattered playing a Nationwide side who showed them no respect and beat them 5-2 because of their own inept performance.
I agree we didn't fancy our chances of winning, but after all football is a game of tactics. As it transpired, Derby failed miserably, which makes you question their Premiership status should they stay up
Five shots of note that actually went in, a Jansen goal, oh, and the penalty that was, which constitutes a battering of the Rams.
S Nightingale should now be ramming a large slice of humble pie down his excuse making funnel.
