PRESTON manager David Moyes is waiting for America's Major League Soccer to name their price for Brian McBride.
The American striker has hinted that he wants to remain at Deepdale after his six month loan spell ends on March 14.
Moyes has told the MLS that he wants to keep McBride -- but is waiting on the reply and the price.
"We are waiting to find out if the MLS want to sell.
"We have had one return call, left a few messages but we are waiting on them getting back to us really."
McBride broke his Deepdale duck after eight games of his loan spell last weekend and will be looking to build on the tally at Stockport County tonight.
The North End boss says he'll 'be daft' not to employ the system of three strikers -- McBride, Jon Macken and David Healy -- following two victories.
"It is a flexible system. At times we have won games, like at Wolves, with one striker and we will have a look at different systems dependent who we are playing.
"But I'd be daft not to go with it tonight."
Preston have already met Andy Kilner's side twice this season -- the league game ended in a draw while County knocked Preston out of the FA Cup last month, both at Deepdale.
"Stockport have been tough opposition for us, we have not managed to beat them yet.
"We know exactly what we gave got to do but Stockport need the points to climb up the table.
"They are in a good run and have a big game against Tottenham in the FA Cup on Saturday."
Moyes has a slight doubt over McBride who hurt his ankle in the 5-0 thrashing of QPR on Saturday.
Right back Graham Alexander could come back into the squad after he has been sidelined since Boxing Day with a punctured lung.
And North End have added a new face to the squad -- although he is one for the future.
York-born Polish youngster Pawel Abbott is set to sign for North End, subject to completing a medical.
The 18-year-old centre forward did enough during a trial spell at Deepdale to earn himself a full contract.
