St Helens Vine 32 Folly Lane 0
VINE powered to an impressive win in a game which was cut short due to a neck injury sustained by one of the Folly Lane players.
The home side started well and by half-time had raced into a 28-point lead with tries by Wilburn, Greg Stubbs, Chris Diamond, Damian Clitheroe and Dave Swift (2), with Stubbs adding two goals.
Winger Fredericks added another try for Vine early in the second half before the referee and both sides agreed to call a halt to proceedings with 30 minutes left on the clock.
