A WOMAN suffered a serious sexual assault in a ladies' toilets at Generation nightclub, Fleming Street, Blackburn.
Police said the woman, who is in her early 20s, suffered minor injuries in the attack at 1.30am yesterday but did not need hospital treatment.
Detective Sergeant Paul Withers said: "There may have been a female witness who saw the attack, and we would like to speak to her.
"We would also like to speak to anyone who saw a man entering or leaving the ladies' toilets."
The man was described as white, aged 25 to 30, heavily built and about six feet tall.
He had short brown hair and was wearing dark trousers or jeans and a denim shirt.
He was thought to have been with two other men who were not involved in the attack.
Police would like to speak to three men who came to the club in a red Ford Sierra Sapphire in order to eliminate them from their enquiries.
