PADIHAM have appointed Pakistani all-rounder Faheem Fazal as their new professional.
Fazal replaces Ajay Sharma at the Arbories as Padiham look to regain the Jennings Ribblesdale League title they held for two years before Ribblesdale Wanderers' success last summer.
The 24-year-old was the professional at Roundhay in the Central Yorkshire League last season and enjoyed a prolific season with bat and ball.
A right-arm quick bowler, Fazal took 92 wickets and also scored 980 runs as a hard-hitting batsman with season's best efforts of 115 not out and 9-35.
Fazal plays his first-class cricket for the Agricultural Development Bank of Pakistan and Lahore.
