A PLAY aimed at young people takes the stage in a theatre production organised by Barnardo's and the Citadel in St Helens.
Barnardo's disability support worker Ken Williams has invited the YMCA's Y touring Theatre company to the Citadel Theatre on February 19 and 20 to stage a performance of Cracked - a play aimed at teenagers aged 14 and over, which explores the issues of depression and mental illness.
The performance on February 20 is fully booked - with the audience including local disabled young people, other Barnardo's projects and community groups. However, there are still places available for the previous day. Any community group or school interested in attending can contact Ken on 01744 453073 or Morag at the Citadel on 01744 735436.
Disability support worker Ken Williams - whose post is jointly funded by Barnardo's, St Helens Council, and the local health authority - works with local organisations across St Helens to help disabled young people access vital services and become more involved in mainstream facilities and leisure activities.
