A TOUCH of magic was in the air when amateur magicians cast a spell over mesmerised customers at a Rossendale pub.
Robert Grant, of Crawshawbooth, near Rawtenstall, waved his wand over customers at the Holden Arms, Grane Road, Haslingden, in a joint fund-raising night for the Grane Road Residents' Association and Haslingden and Helmshore Brass Band.
Robert, aided by an assistant, weaved his magic and kept his audience spellbound with a variety of tricks and illusions.
The band is raising money to repair and refurbish its practice rooms in Haslingden while the residents' association will use its share to benefit the local community.
It was not known how much was raised.
Robert Grant, left, is pictured performing a table trick with Michael Murray, of the Grane Residents Association.
