A 20-YEAR-OLD Blackburn man was remanded in custody by Blackburn magistrates after pleading guilty to breaking in Blackburn Northern Sports Club last Friday and stealing £98 from the squash court cash boxes.
Stephen Gregson, of Wareham Street, also pleaded guilty to three charges of handling stolen car radio equipment and the magistrates ordered the preparation of pre-sentence reports.
Kevin Preston, defending, said Gregson appeared to have got his life back on track after he had moved to Manchester to live with his father.
"He then came back to Blackburn, fell in with the wrong crowd once again and here he is in court again," said Mr Preston.
