A 13-year-old Asian boy was punched in the face and knocked off his chair during a racist attack in the classroom.
The youngster suffered racial abuse from a similarly aged white thug who then launched into the terrified pupil with his fists.
The incident happened on Monday (Feb 12) at Radcliffe High School in Abden Street, Radcliffe. The young victim was attending an evening English speaking lesson when the attack occurred.
Detectives are currently following up a "line of enquiry" and have already spoken to a number of witnesses who were in the classroom at the time of the assault.
The Asian boy was taken to Bury General Hospital after the attack in which he suffered a broken nose.
