YMCA A U10s 4 WYRE VILLA A 0, YMCA B U10s 3 WYRE VILLA B 1 YMCA booked a place in the Coulton Cup quarter finals with this aggregate 7-1 win. In the A game they always had the edge and a double-strike by Jordan Holden plus a goal apiece from Ben Fishwick and Robert Summers put YMCA in the driving seat. Villa battled well in the B game but again YMCA looked the stronger outfit with goals by Robert Dickinson (2) and Adam Whiteside securing the game. Nick Bostock notched the visitors' consolation.
FOXHALL U14s 1 YMCA 6 YMCA retained top-spot in the league with this victory. Andy Mitchell gave them the lead and after Foxhall levelled a strike by Lee Glickman made it 2-1 at half-time. The second half saw YMCA played superb football and the outstanding Mitchell added a further three goals to bring his match-tally to four. The impressive Andy Harvie also notched a goal.
YMCA U15s 8 WYRE JUNIORS 4 YMCA, selected defender Steve Bonser as a striker and he responded by scoring twice in the opening seven minutes. Fellow striker James Harrison then bagged a hat trick but after sloppy defending it was 5-2 at the break. Harrison claimed his fourth goal of the game after the restart. Namesake Chris Harrison added a seventh after the visitors cashed-in on another mistake. YMCA's Phil Rayton then notched his first goal for the club with Wyre claiming a fourth in the closing minutes.
