TWO internationally renowned American jazz musicians will host a workshop at Freddies next month.
Professor Phil DeGreg of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and Professor Mike Tracy of Louisville University, on piano and sax respectively, and accompanied by Peter Turner, one of Britain's finest on double bass, will give a concert to students at Fred Longworth High, Tyldesley, on the morning of March 22 before the workshop with the school's big band.
The session will then culminate in a concert at Lordy's Nightclub, Tyldesley, at 7.30pm .
Phil has performed with many notable jazz artists. Michael has been on stage with Ella Fitzgerald, Buddy Rich, the Four Tops and Temptations on appearances around the world.
